Last time, the epic battle that shook the heavens themselves came to a close. With Medusa frozen away for eternity, the victory bell was rung, but no celebration could justify the sacrifice. Urd's death brought Elsa no emotion low enough to escape the depression. She was driven that her magic and effort was too late. Overcome with the same grief, Hild had admitted the truth that it was by her own hand that Urd's life was ended, having given her only daughter to ensure Medusa's loss. Wanting as many answers for Hild's actions, Elsa could only feel mercy against Hild, knowing that her pain was the worst punishment imaginable. Wanting her to have some comfort that Urd's legacy was going to be honored, Elsa muttered that she hoped her magic had different abilities beyond her ice. It was then Hild was hit with a very unique idea which made her wish to make another sacrifice. The laws of creation had birthed Urd to be the child of both good and evil, and Hild wanted to use her power to redo that very process. Using her own malevolence to sacrifice, she would manipulate the grand design to bring her back to life. Elsa warned against the idea but Hild's magic went wild. With hellfire and great flashes of evil energies, the spell was cast...only to fail. Elsa had to remind Hild that magic alone was never enough to alter the balance of creation itself. Without Hild, all things would be in chaos and Hild, rather than anger, was grateful for such a reminder. She realized that her grief had simply cloud her sense as she decided to try again....using another sacrifice. Elsa was shocked to learn Medusa would be released from her eternal prison but Hild justified her release to do a far greater good. Elsa again protested but Hild would not be denied, using the malevolence once more, the prison shattered as the dark soul of Medusa fueled the spell to resurrect Urd. In a flash, the two could only look at Urd lying at Hild's embrace quiet and still, both of them about to feel nothing but the same sorrow. However, life had proven to have a second chance as Urd's eyes opened, and Hild's smile widening.

"How are you feeling?" Hild asked as Urd moaned, reaching up and held her cheek. "What...happened?" She muttered and leaned up. "Skuld!" She yelled in shock. Elsa gasped and Urd panicked and looked around. "Skuld's in trouble. She's trying to take Medusa out and....where is...ah" She saw Skuld out cold and was in shock. "No! What has she done?" She asked in horror as Hild gripped her. "Calm down! What do you remember, darling?" She asked and Urd was trying to think. "Its like...a dream? I can remember Morrigan...Madelyne...Elsa? Nnn....I was like Morrigan....its so hazy" She said, confused and Elsa approached, crouching and held her hand. "Elsa?" Urd said and Elsa smiled. "I.....I wish I could just tell you, but your heart would only break" She said. Hild eeked when Urd's arms came around Elsa's shoulders. Elsa gasped and Urd clenched, hugging her close. "I saw what....what Madelyne and Morrigan did. I thought...you were gone" She said, crying and Elsa frowned, rubbing her back. "You didnt have your memory at all...but how did you know Medusa was--"I remember waking up a moment and I was above the throne? Medusa was sitting in it and I saw Madelyne and Morrigan as monsters. Skuld was sneaking behind and I couldnt warn her. Medusa had me dropped on her....thats the last thing I remember was hearing Skuld's scream...." She said and Elsa frowned deeply. Hild frowned and stood, putting her hands to her hips. "Well! You need not worry at all, dear! Medusa is now gone and she's never ever coming back" She said. Elsa glared a moment and Urd looked between the two, frowning. "This...this doesnt make sense. You two being together like this...tell me what happened! Everything? Nnn....Bell" She saw her naked on the ground and crawled as Hild stopped her. "She's fine, dear! You need to rest a minute and collect yourself. You have a lot of repairs to be making up here" She said. Elsa crossed her arms, wanting to tell Urd the truth about what happened, but having Hild glaring just made her skin crawl with fury. What Hild had done was unspeakable...but....to have Urd back, how could she judge her actions. But she could only wonder if the ends justified the means?

Urd got up, going to Skuld and leaned her up, seeing she was fine. Skuld flinched a little, opening her eyes as she leaned up. "Oi! I feel like I hit my own head with my hammer? Ahhhhhhhhh" She screamed to see everything around her in ruins and whined to get bonked. "OW! WHY DID YOU HIT ME?" She yelled. "You were screaming right in my ear, idiot! Calm down!" She said. "Calm down? CALM DOWN? Look at this place! Do you have any idea how long its going to take for me to put everything back together???" She said. "Get your little gadget things to do it! You cheat yourself out of your chores enough" Urd frowned and Skuld puffed her cheeks. "Do you know how many I would have to build? What in Heaven did all this????" She yelled and saw Elsa. "Why is she here?" She pointed and then saw a shadow. She looked over her shoulder and saw Hild towering as she felt a chill down her spine. "Boo" Hild said and Skuld ran behind Urd, Urd frowning. "Tsk! Mmm...." She saw Madelyne and Morrigan beginning to stir as Urd gathered lightning in her hand. "Those two are not going to have another chance to make trouble!" She said, gasping when she saw an ice beam shoot past as Morrigan and Madelyne panicked to find thsmelves inside a huge box of ice. Urd was shocked and Elsa frowned deeply. "They wont! That ice will freeze them if they even try anything before Hild takes them" She said. "Where did you learn to do that?" She asked and Hild giggled. "Your little pupil is full of new tricks! You should have seen when she--"Hild! You said you were taking them to Hell" Elsa interrupted and Hild frowned. "Indeed...and the two of them will be having quite a time" She said as Morrigan was punching the ice, yelling as Madelyne sat quietly. Madelyne was looking right at Elsa as Elsa frowned, turning away and crossed her arms. Urd frowned a bit and she put a hand on Elsa's shoulder. "Hey..." She said and saw Elsa crying. "Urd, you need to know that--"Save it, Elsa. If what Im looking at is proof of something horrible. However...I see you, Hild, my sisters...those two over there...and all ok, then its for the best! Whatever happened, you can just keep to yourself! Ok?" She asked, hugging her again and Elsa frowned, hugging her back. "Proud of you, ya know? You must've remembered some of what Ive taught you" She said, chuckling and Elsa smiled a little. "Well...a few things. Lets just say I couldnt do what I do without you" She said. "Thats so wonderful to hear" A cheery voice said as Belldandy walked up. "Well someone's not shameful" Hild said and Skuld eeked, grabbing cloth from the ground and running. "Belldandy!!! Are you ok?" She asked. "Im fine! Everyone just looks so well and happy....I feel wonderful!" She smiled which made Hild roll her eyes. "Tsk...guess telling you what you tried to do is pointless enough" She grumbled.

After the group was getting together, Hild was giving Urd snuggles as Urd was gritting her teeth. "Hild!" She said, annoyed and Hild giggled. "Oh Mommy just wants to give you a little loving! Why dont you come and watch me work a little while! These two are going to have such a time with their punishments" She said and Urd frowned. "I'll take a rain check! You and I will definitely have a talk because something about all of this doesnt feel right." She said and Hild frowned. "Everything is as it should be and thats all that matters, dear" She said and Urd frowned, leaving. "You know...Ive done a lot of things, but I remember something that Father taught me....we reap what we sew. I hope you're ready for whats coming to you if you did something to hurt my family in the end" She warned, leaving and Hild frowned, but had a small smile. "I'll face anything coming if it means you are still there in the end, my dear! Always and forever...hnn hnn! Mommy loves you" She said, disappearing in a burst of flames rather than open her portal. Near the gates, Skuld was whining to see all the repairs needing to be made as Belldandy was giving Elsa a small touch of the hands to heal one scrape. "I am so grateful for what you did, Elsa" She said and Elsa looked down. "Belldandy, I--"you even gave a prayer in Urd's teachings" She interrupted, wanting to continue praising her as Elsa's eyes widened a little. "You knew that....how? Medusa had--"I prayed, Elsa. I prayed you would make the right choice and you did without even a second thought!" She said, having seen one small outcome of the future. Elsa looked down, shocked that Belldandy had known. "You know what Hild did then. Why did you allow this if you could have stopped this in the beginning?" She asked. "I prayed to Father and he told me to trust him and wait. Angels must obey! Mmm...and I never lost faith in you. Neither has Urd" She said and Elsa frowned. "Mmm, guess I better fly away home. Anna is going to kill me when I explain what happened to her" She said and Belldandy giggled a moment. "You need not worry! I sent Anna a small something to assist in her acceptance of the situtation. Besides...her prayers for you were answered too" She said. "Prayers? What prayers" She said and Belldandy saw a portal open. "For her sister to see she's the greatest person in the world" She said and a tear fell. "After what I did....she....nnn! Thanks, Bell! Come by when you are able and we'll have a chocolate cake ready!" She said and Belldandy smiled. "Thank you! I shall...." She said, watching her leave through the portal and Belldandy heard crying. "Hmm?" She saw Skuld trying to hold two broken bricks together. "I am never gonna be done" She said. "Come now....lets roll up our sleeves and get to work! I'll help you!" She said, getting bricks and rubble in a bucket as Skuld smiled, immediately feeling energized. "You're the best, Bell! I'll get everything fixed better than new! Just watch!" She said.

Oh man, did it just reach its conclusion? I am so happy that this story took a wild ride. I hope everyone will continue to comment and send notes.
