Description
I had never tried painting a close up portrait before so I thought I'd give it a go. I'm not really sure how this has turned out because I've been staring at it for so long. The proportions may be a little bit off?? The nose is a bit weird but a realistic one looked even worse.Eh... well I can only get better with practise, right?
I'd welcome any constructive criticism or critiques to help me improve!

I think he looks pretty handsome~ though I can see your problem with the nose now that I've stared at it for far too long hehehe maybe it should've been a bit more in the center? But then again, it's like a 3/4 head turn so it doesn't bother me :3 it looks good
also what program do you use because the way you colour is very pretty!!!

Thank you! I use paint tool SAI. I did most of the colouring with the square brush.

well done! I like the colors. The nose is weird and a bit too long. ( the base of the nose is in te middle of the eyebrows and the jaw?)

Thank you for your critique! I agree about the nose, it was sort of meant to be an anime style one (just a line with a shadow) so there aren't nostrils or anything. I'll see if I can find a reference next time.
