Description Lift your chin to Christmas

"My love, lift your chin to Christmas
a day and me you will no longer miss
you'll open your door to me a smile
so long I've travelled mile after mile
I'll place my arms around you
and stair into your eyes ice-blue
and say what ive wanted to
that your the one and I love only you"
You said to me on that day so cold
the door bell rang I wooshed open the door
expecting your smile to greet me making my heart sore
the police officer saw horror that day
as he told me the last words you did say
my tears hit the ground as if tied to concrete
all I could do was stair at my colourless feet
as he said "your husbands last words miss"
I gathered  myself as I prepared for this
he said "Remember My love, the time we shared,
remember that I loved you and always cared"
watching the life I once had being sucked out of me
I screamed, "it wasn't suppose to end like this" as I fell to my knee
with all my memories replaying in my head
I'll forever remember what he said .
