Description Well, i never invested so much time in one pic before.
Rendertime was 4hours. ^^

Somewhere in the cold deep sea, a team of IPX oceanauts in their submarine are making the discovery of their life.

I really hope you like it.

Oh my... this is amazing! I wish they would find something "alien" someday...! but I guess, based on Kosh's opinion, we would never be ready for this...

shadow-nova [2008-08-02 18:49:40 +0000 UTC]

well either they make discovery of their lives or get vaporized by it. those things are kinda alive and i dont think you want to piss of an sentient ship. great work, thou i suppose there might be bit more sediment build up around the edges on one side than the other because of the ocean currents?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Amras-Arfeiniel In reply to shadow-nova [2008-08-02 19:18:52 +0000 UTC]

clem-master-janitor [2008-08-02 16:51:28 +0000 UTC]

So, would that Vorlon ship be considered slumbering or dead? I mean, they are alive, so for it to be just sitting there, it's either going to be aggravated when it wakes up or it's already dead and on its way back to Earth for 'study.' Next up, Vorlonic armor EA ships?

Hey, what ever you want.
I just made the pic, the story behind it is the work of the viewer.

Yeah, but it would be creepy seeing squid protrusions and yellow ships in the EA.

Those IPX guys are going to be in for a mean surprise very few things the Vorlons discard and don't come back for work as advertised. I hope it anything as bad as the 3rd space jump gate.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

Amras-Arfeiniel In reply to Banditks [2008-08-02 16:36:54 +0000 UTC]

mm interesting idea.
You mean this fighter was a part of an experiment that goes wrong...
...in that case they will really get in trouble.^^

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Banditks In reply to Amras-Arfeiniel [2008-08-02 16:41:40 +0000 UTC]

Eh just keeping those Vorlons in mind. might have been the first try for a real conscious ship? could have been an experiment as well for an truly involving growing ship, fighter at youngster then as it gains experience it grows into a battleship? see thats the cool thing about pictures like this you could almost create a fan fiction from one picture.
anyways its an awesome picture.

But in fact, the vorlon ship design based on garlic.^^
The Wings for example are like onionskin and the tentacles are the roots.
