We were Skyping 'cause she wanted to show me this picture she was working on, but she was afraid to shade it. So I was all smooth-like, "Hey... mebbe I could do that fer ya." So she sent me the .PSD and voila! Collab!
Kumlay drew Tsavi and Simbati, laid in their flats, the background, everything.
I added the shading and little fur-details.
It was FUN!Simbati is hesitant to refer to herself as a mother... but she has no qualms with being young Tsavi's guardian...

This is beautiful, the shading is gorgeous, and just the general feel is awesome.
However, a small critique: Simbati's eyes are totally denying her actual head, nose, and facial structure. If her nose is showing that her head is more downward sloping, then the eyes should be doing the same, on a curved line. Meaning, the viewer's perspective, right eye should be higher, and the left lower. Other then that, there really isn't anything to critique. It's so fantastic, and I love cubby Tsavi's expression. Omgosh, he looks sooo friggin happy, and safe. <3

Thanks! And I'm sure ~Kumlay will really appreciate that! Heheheh, we had to take a few minutes to decide what to name this piece, and then we were (or at least I was) like, "Oooh! What about 'Guardian' - she's keeping him safe and she's kinda like his mom/legal guardian. So yeah."
