My entry for a contest on Comicvine ([link] ). When conceptualizing this 2099 concept, I was imagining this 2099 era Black Canary to be a member of a special anit-super powers team organized by a CADMUS-esque project. She would be one of many in her group at first, with black hair and green energy flowing through the suit instead of yellow, until somebody would cut her strings. Who and why in uncertain, but she'd then be part of a bigger story involving other 2099 DC heroes.

I've got multiple versions of this piece, so I was having some trouble on deciding which one to upload. But thankfully, due in part to some really cool people, I've made my decision.

So any way, I hope you like this. And if not, here ([link] ) are some alternates that you might just find more to your tastes.
