Since I'm drawing Yume from Pupa, then might as well share my impressions with the newly released anime. Well, I've read the manga of 'Pupa' a year back. The manga itself, in summary was dark, depressing, and brutal. No questions about that. However, it also comes with an interesting plot along these factors. A plot I would bet no one would've come up with. Ever since I've heard it was getting an Anime adaptation, I awaited for it to be released. I, of course, ended up getting sidetracked with all the other new anime releases, that I didn't even notice Pupa's anime adaptation. My first initial impression of the anime, is that the episodes were very short! At about 3 minutes of content without the OP and ED. From what I had seen, I assume that they are doing a chapter (of the manga) per episode (of the anime). The anime and the manga's style had no difference, it's like seeing the manga panels move to life! Waiting another week for an episode is really frustrating, especially if the content were only 3 minutes in duration, compared to other anime episodes being released weekly at a duration of 24 minutes! ＼(;´□｀)/
