This look presents an interesting middle ground between
1) the classic Kid Flash costume, and
2) the Kid Flash costume of "Kingdom Come," worn by Iris West II (aka "Irey" West, aka Impulse in the mainstream comics).
I like the darker color to the jacket here, and I really like that the style resembles the "Young Justice" type of costume--they're more utilitarian than the usual fabric-based costumes of old.

Its an original character that is pretty heavily based on Iris West from Kingdom Come, where she is the 4th Flash.

Love the design. Did you use Kingdom Come Iris West as a base for the design? The jacket's almost identical but the other details are a very nice touch. Also, look at those lips and tell me that this isn't Artemis' daughter. xD

Heh, what a coincidence, and I just came across her yesterday when I read Flash #146 xD Only this costume looks way more awesome!
(Just a question, did you rename her from Iris to Isis or is that a typo?)

You might be mistaking this character with another one from Flash lore. Other than the Iris West that everyone knows and loves (Barry's Iris), there's the pre-New 52 Iris West (Wally's daughter with Linda Park) who got retconned out of existence, and Kingdom Come Iris West, who isn't from the main DC universe.

Oh, I know this is Iris, as in the-daughter-of-Wally Iris I meant the issue #146 of Wally's saga, not Barry's (tho even there Iris was present in like the first few issues already). As far as I can see the costume's almost the same as in Kingdom Come (which I haven't yet read, but Google comes in handy), except her glasses aren't tinted, and prolly some other details. She also seems to have daddy issues as well. It's part 2 of the Chain Lightning arc, maybe that will help? The speedsters travel into the future to warn other speedsters about something, and Jay meets Iris.

So not mistaking an Iris I actually kinda wasted two and a half summers of my life reading every Flash pre-n52 issue, except Jay, Barry's 150-280 (cuz my brain rotted from too much 60's fairytale-like comics) and from Wally's #180 onwards because I do have a life still Big Flash fan here, no need to tell me about Irises

Ah, OK.  Yeah, I think the person who commissioned it probably just didn't want people to confuse grown-up Iris with child Iris and since Earth-16 is separate from the main universe, thought it would be OK to change things up a little.
