Personality: For the most part he's fairly straight forward, but can be easily misunderstood due to language barriers. He's very soft and gentle, only hurts when he must, or when his "Papa" or "Mama" are threatened. Even "extended family" such as Uncles, Aunts, and so on. If afraid, he will revert to being a young child, due to how he'd lived his, but he's grateful he had one. He's also very shy about certain things such as sexuality and even romance. He's just that innocent still.

• Mobians were just barely introduced as a permanent species of the world, after hundreds of years of experimenting , trial and error, what have you. First thought of by Dr. Giovanni Oviano, who'd taken DNA from an odd creature who'd called himself "Mobian", drafted by the military.
• A group known just as the "Union" deemed Mobians an abomination against God, and so they sought to destroy them, but quietly. They'd taken many of the world's greatest minds, who agreed, and devised a way to deal with them. They'd created a super virus that only targeted Mobian DNA.
• Within 5 years, it'd killed off most the Mobian population, those who remained fled to South Africa, where the virus wasn't found. A small military was formed in the city they soon came to call Mambasa (halo ODST), known as the Mobian Military Defense Force (M.M.D.F.).
• Eventually the Virus got in, so a small team of MMDF Scientists were put in charge of making a vaccine for the virus. Team lead by Kathy Sawicki and Nikolai Oviano. The Polish and the Italian. Together, they started, Nikolai at the head of the project.
• Eventually they made a small child hedgehog named Progetto Ombra, or as Nikolai liked to call him, Massimo. But Nikolai also created him with the wrong intentions. He'd created him to be the final "kill all" the Union needed to finish off all Mobian life, but no one knew this yet.
• The virus and "new" virus didn't get along, so anytime Massimo breathed the air outside his sterilized room, his heart would completely stop and need to be revived, and was constantly connected to IVs and had an oxygen mask on, never able or allowed to remove them. He would go an entire year like this before the Union came looking for him, wanting their final blow. Over that time, Nikolai had become attached, still wanted the Mobians dead, but it would cost Massimo's life. He didn't want that...
• In response to his fears, Nikolai brought back the very General that sparked Mobian existence, knowing he was still alive in another "World". Mobian General and Drop Shock Unite Leader Blitz Krieg. Who hadn't come "back" alone, he'd brought his lover, Apocalypse 'Shadow', who Kathy named and dubbed "Father Massimo" for his appearance and height.
• As the two of them guarded Massimo, Apocalypse had an epiphany, only being told Massimo was ill, not the virus incarnated, he took Massimo back to his own world, after being deemed "Daddy" by Massimo himself. Once there, Massimo was fine, he played in a field, went to the toy store and got a bouncy ball and hedgehog plushy, then after had his first ever sugar rush and brain freeze from an ice cream cone. They finished up the small visit off word with a trip to the beach, where Massimo would discover a love for drawing and art.
• Once back, they were greeted by Union Soldiers, the Leader himself even. Apocalypse and Blitz held them off so that Apocalypse could take Massimo to the Southern base in Mambasa, where he would be Safe, while MMDF soldiers took care of the Union intruders.
• Later, after Blitz and Apocalypse had to leave, Massimo's devil-virus was removed and he was given the proper structure he was meant for. He was now the vaccine. And even later in life, he'd found he could use the Chaos Emeralds scattered around the Universe, given that he was made with the energy of the green emerald.

NOTES:
- His hands and feet are abnormally small, but fine, delicate.
- His quills fluff up on the very top of his head naturally.
- Always carries the hedgehog plushy with him at all times.
- He's mostly blind; He can only see BRIGHT lights and such, darkness of any measure is hard for him to see in indefinitely.
- Chaos pen is how he channels Chaos Energy.

- MMDF later becomes known as GUN in his world.
