When Simon and Kyle just got the message that someone was going to cut his girlfriend's throat, so they go to the door armed with a coatrack as a weapon. It's Jace, so he asks what they were planning to do with a coatrack, and Kyle says that it would have been useful if Jace were a vampire, and Jace says: 'Or someone with a lot of coats' or something like that XD so this scenario popped into my head XDD
