Turners works are shown in Edinburgh every january and february - only ever in those months due to the darkness - did you know. He bequeathed them to our national gallery on that condition so the colours wouldn't be damaged by sunlight.

Thank you! Very happy with the way this one worked. The reflections especially. So happy because I did it for my Aunt as a wedding "thank you" for doing all the flowers. She's a star. And she loves this place in the painting. So I hope she likes my painting. (She prefers the more realistic paintings of mine

Well its interesting, I don't enjoy it more as such, I tend to get hung up on making it look like the photo - which isn't always the point, but the outcome is sometimes very nice. Very happy with this one. I hope my Aunt likes it!
