Just taking a moment to ponder how cute the friendship between Mullins and Jukes is! Love how Robert is so horrible and violent (I love him but it is true!) and then he has this one soft-spot in Jukes. Billy Jukes was/is my absolute favouite pirate in the whole world and I always thought it was great that he had one person on his side - cos I figure if you are the cabin boy on a ship of mean pirates you need to know someone has your back.Ok, gushing session about the awesomeness of these two characters over!! For a little while anyway........

Mullins and Billy made the show for me. So much sad alluded to backstory and potential angst. Throw in Hook, potentially nice/horrible Mason Starkey Cookson trio, the shared secret of Slightly's friendship and an often bratty Pan, and there are dozens of scenarios to explore that the show couldn't. Check out the old stories on the Cove or fanfiction. Saba Li Anks, Enola, D.K Archer, The Sadistic Cow, Dendraica, Foxieglove, Minako25, stormsiren609, madmongoose5876 are some of the many, many great authors that you'll find there writing about Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates.

He had his moments, for a Brooklyn Broom Bandit! I recall he and Slightly had an adventure that wasn't entirely horrid.

All the pirates were a lot of fun with distinct personalities. I always liked that they weren't all "bad guy 1 and bad guy 2" They had their own special episodes as well... I need to go watch my crappy copies I bought from the internet to get a fix... or maybe go to Youtube

All the episodes are on YouTube (thank goodness considering the lack of dvd option!!) Haven't watched all of them yet, but def love the episodes that focus on the pirates
