I featured this piece in my latest journal . Please don't respond unless, for some reason, you don't want it there.

The cat is exellent. I love this whole thing. Colours are vibrant, the expression is priceless. What a spoiled little kitty. Hehe

Thanks! That was a bad kitty right up until the end of the piece. Finally came together at the last minute.

Iβm loving the way you did the cat- you always do the coolest eyes, and my, what splendid fur texture!
I really love the use of color here, especially all the reds and teals/greens- they really complement each other well. Those butterflies are absolutely gorgeous!
I also adore the architecture and the βtoweringβ effect it has over the lower subjects.
You have an incredible way of creating lifelike textures- the stone just blows me away.
Beautiful!

Thanks! It was weird to work with acrylics. The fur was way harder than with oils.

Very nice painting... Very interresting.. though I don't really understand what you meant by it. What is its significance?

It was commisioned by a friend as a gift for his fiance/wife on their wedding day. He told me the stuff they liked and I mixed it together for that piece. I can see how the title can be kinda confusing out of context.
