Hiya everyone!It's been a while- at least it feels like it for me. XD
I'm now in college, in my dorm, still trying to adapt to a new environment..
My classes start on the 6th, so I had a little time to draw. This is Kvothe... with his dagger and his lute, Felurian's cloak and all.
I was trying a different method to paint, but realized it will take forever to do it this way.
Once I realized that, I knew I'm never gonna finish this drawing... it's just, well, I don't know, I don't feel it anymore (I have a few more of these in my drive too lol).
So I just decided to post it up anyways.
- and well, I had to upload something to prove I'm not dead in college! XDForgive the messiness.

I saw this awhile ago and put it in my favorites. Now I've been around on DeviantArt and Google looking up fanart pictures of Kvothe and I have to say that this is hands down my absolute FAVORITE picture of Kvothe. It is beautiful and perfect and the look in his eyes gives me shivers. I love how the hood of his cloak obscures half of his face. It adds a whole 'nother level of mystery to him. It's a shame you don't think you will ever finish it.

I've never really bothered to imagine what his cloak of cobweb and shadow looked like before now. Now this is all I will ever see when I read it, and it is indeed epic. It gives me chills. Patrick Rothfuss is so good at making Kvothe seem so unattainably epic, awe-inspiringly cunning and powerful and invincible; the kind of cool that makes you sit in your chair and stare at the page in shuddering admiration while your heart does strange things inside you, and he does it all so effortlessly. I don't know why, but this picture just seems to capture that for me. For that, you have my thanks.

wonderful cape!!! whatever different method u used to paint it was exactly the right one. please finish it & while u r at it u may want to adjust the jaw & neck to be less feminine as well as double check proportion of the head, seems a little small. Keep up the good work & good luck in college

Oh my god....he's PERFECT. It's needs a few touch-ups around the cloak and lute, but it is one of the best Kvothes I have seen yet. Keep up the incredible work!
