Description I'm not sure if the word "chumming" is used in modern English at all, but it used to mean the meal you buy for your new comrades when joining an existing group of people. Our young goblin, as you can see, exchanges his vest and moccasins for 2 portions of dried mushrooms: the nicer and juicier ones to be given to the Bachelors' overseer (the old guy in the funny cloak) and the smaller ones to be shared with his new friends. So he is received well.

Logically, the next thing he should do is get into trouble - but what kind of trouble? Your suggestions, please.

I think these days, "chumming" just means spending time with your pals. The whole "new guy buys" isn't really any tradition I'm familiar with... though that might explain why I don't talk my way into many social groups.

The first "trouble" that comes to mind is finding some goblin ladies. How they'd go about it, and what they'd do when they find them, would likely be entertaining.

Hmm, I tried to make it clear (eg. in my comment to page 3) it's a *very* traditional society (the kind Margaret Mead would write about), basically late Neolithic level hunter gatherers. These guys are not considered men, so they can't court ladies (who would just laugh at them if they tried). No ladies for them - not until they've proven themselves worthy as hunters and warriors. The last frame actually gives a hint at what they are thinking of doing: "annoy each other and everyone else". In what way is the question.
