Description Belle and Philippe from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. I know Philippe is not to scale; maybe he was de-aged?

They are made with Miyuki Delica beads and Nymo 00 thread. They took about 6-7 hours combined to make.

maybe it's his little cousin or brother? I have a phillip-like horse Disney named Monique (don't ask) it's pretty to Phillipe I think .. could be his little sis or cousin..[link]

pic of an actual phillipe plush I was never able to get..

Cousin could work, or his baby.

Cute plush; I never saw it in stores. At least Monique is still a French name

and it was the only plush/figure that looked remotely like Phillipe (aside from the official plush which I think was on at Disney on Ice shows) from Beauty and the Beast!

the monique one I got at the Disney store in 2002 (I'm in the U.S) this other one I'm about to show you I think is about 5 years ago? I don't remember .. but I'm not crazy about it he doesn't look like a draft horse in this one.. [link]

here's a cool porcelain fig of Phillipe mane colors wrong though..[link]

Yeah, not a fan of either of those, but they're better than the Arab one of the Belle dolls came with.

I personally prefer the Enesco ornaments. The Philippe reindeer one was one of the models I used for mine.

yeah, I think it's beacuase Arabs look more "girly" to girls to than the draft breeds? thankfully Angus didn't look that ...

and aww that Phillipe reindeer was so cute! wish I could've gotten him..

Or toymakers think they are more girly. I've always preferred ponies and drafters myself. Arabs always look like they are going to break to me.

Now if I could just make my beaded Philippe look more like a drafter ...

I love my Philippe reindeer ornament

sorry for the late reply.. but yeah..Β  thankfully this was averted with angus.. I haven't seen any "arabesque" horses in the brave line..

Β

guess they thought Drafters weren't for girls..
