Description My dogs are such lazy bums, this is how they spend most of their day in my new house.

Despite having a doggy door and being able to run around in the front yard whenever they want, they still prefer to spend the day sleeping on my bed, .

When I actually do carry them and leave them outside, they either come running back in and jump right back on the bed, or they just lay down outside wherever I left them.

From left to right: Patchie, Popi, Sparky.

I usually don't like to take indoor shots due to the graininess and loss of quality, but my new little home has quite a decent amount of lighting which prevented that from happening .

Ah, love the papillons and the chihuahua. Your paps look so much like my guppy, except she's only 10 months old and her ear hair hasn't grown out yet (if it ever does.) We also have one long-coat chi. Great!

Well, they are all papillons, one just happens to have very short fur, likely due to either bad breeding, coat color, or both, although all the puppies came out looking better than either parent =/. The one in the center is the daughter of the other two and makes a good example.

Ah, depending on the color/genetics your Pap may or may not grow ear fringe. If the parents had fringe she may have fringe too.
Guppy seems to look the same color as Sparky (my shorter-haired pap, odd as it sounds lol.)and sometimes they don't grow as much or sometimes not even any fringe. If she has black hairs on her ears however it is likely she'll grow ear fringe, black fringe, but fringe nonetheless.

Thanks for the by the way .

You're welcome and thanks for the info. we thought for the longest time that she was a long-coat chi (that's what the rescue group we got her from thought) but later found out that she is a full pap. She has some black on her ears, but may not grow the ear fringe. Neither of her parents had it. I'm just now learning a bit about the breed since I just realized about a month ago that she really wasn't a chi.

No problem, .
Paps are typically confused with long-haired chihuahuas, because although good examples of either breed vary greatly, there are many not up to the breed standards that tend to look similar. Also, since papillons aren't as common or popular as chis, people who don't know the breed will think it's a chi.
Really I'm just a dog-nerd, so I don't mean to sound as if I'm correcting you in any way.

Not at all! I really do want to learn more. I must say that I'm sold on the breed since having Guppy, who has been the most lovable and friendly dog we've ever had.
