Last of three commissions by , he wanted me to design some giant monsters for his little project in exchange for points!Artist Notes: I always thought that land-based kaijus are my specialty and that might as well be the case. This little big bugger was partially inspired by the Sker Buffaloes from Kong: Skull Island (2017) and Toho's own Baragon, my fave underrated kaiju.
In a way, I wanted to keep this guy pretty simple as Bishop did mentioned it is supposed to be based of the African cryptid Grootslang, which is often described as a mix between a snake and an elephant. Took the elephant built, gave it some reptilian taste, and viola! Tooth-and-claw beastie!

I'm sure they will! I'll probably characterize this big fella as a migratory herbivore, sorta like a dinosaur. It's one of the least aggressive Typhons and isn't bothered by the presence of tiny people walking around or running away from it. Just don't try to touch or tame it, that'll just get you smashed into the ground!
Yeah, maybe in another month or two. Give you some time to relax and myself more time to think of a few more ideas. I'll let you know when I come up with them!
