I'm aware I promised you critique, but I realize that I must be something I'm not in order to do so, a Premium member. Anyways, I suppose critiquing in this way is fine as well.

I like your overall image, the idea and everything appears to be stunning at first to the eye in a glance. But once you look closely, you notice little faults that aren't too important.
Your grounding is definitely better than some I've seen, but it could use a bit of work. Unlike my problem, you "underdid" it, making the horse look like it's stepping on "rock grass", though not so bad that it looks like it's floating instead of grounded. Your cutting is a tad bad in some areas, and the ear...it looks like a block..? Or am I hallucinating? Your horse is also a tad out of focus, so if you can, try to make the horse "clearer". Your mane's a little odd, but I like the coloring of it and all. The back hind foot also looks a bit smudged. It'll just come with practice and experience, and your technique. Also, your shadow is a bit off in my opinion, and would be good if you switched it around to fit the light source. Since the planets create a light, and are both in the right corner area, your shadow should be in the opposite place and a bit stretched. Besides that, good work!

thanks!

ah! I can see what you mean by the shadow and I noticed the "clump" after I had "finished" the picture I think it was originally the forelock.
hehe, I actually had to paint the feet

thanks pointing out some stuff

No problem, and my pleasure!

Oh...okay, then the forelock needs a bit of fixing as well in that case.
Ah, yes. I've done that before. You might want to use the background eraser and just erase away bits of the hooves to show some grass. It works better at times than painting grass over.

Would you accept critique for this?

Sure. I'll try to write constructive critique on every little wrong thing I see. I'm glad you'll accept critique though, as it's sort of instinctual for me.

Yeah, I got into one today. Yup, same here. I appreciate critique, no matter how harsh.

Really nice, especially the lighting. I love glowy things, esecially blue ones. The eye looks very . . . creey in an adds-to-the-art way.
