Not wanting to be found wanting on the battlefield, Gina Hoenheim, under the guidance of her tech crew and fellow pilot Emilia Curtwright, outfitted her GM Sniper II to be closer to its 'Sniper' name and designation, instead of just being a high performance GM with a sniper rifle. Central to its overall weapons selection is a remodeled, collapsible long range beam rifle with a slightly heavier and reinforced barrel with a folding bipod mounted underneath and a remodeled cooling system that extends the number of shots, rate of fire and operational use on the field. It comes with a beam saber mounted underneath it acting as an impromptu beam bayonet. The rifle can also use a dedicated, portable fusion reactor that can supply some more mega particles to charge it's energy capacitor on the field without having to go back to its supply ship to recharge for a limited duration as there's a limit to how much the portable fusion reactor can supply it with mega particles on a single run.

Additionally, its operating system and connector plugs were all updated and modified to be able to use a variety of weapons available for Earth Commonwealth mobile suits, allowing it to expand its weapons selection and mission role before going out on a sortie.

To ease carrying some of the weapons, additional weapons hardpoint and more importantly, a weapons rack was added on either side of the backpack, allowing it to carry some of its weapons as well as the portable fusion reactor there which increases the amount of weapons it can carry into battle. The weapons racks are detachable so as to be able to get rid of the dead weight when the need arises. However, she cannot carry everything into battle of course.

To compensate with the additional weight of the weapons rack and weapons it can carry, the rocket and vernier thrusters were replaced with more advanced models with higher output which increases it maximum speed slightly. At full weight, it roughly has the same speed as its original specs. It also boasts a longer visual and sensor range with its new updated sensors package, which also allows it to sense its surroundings and enemies by sonar (usable only in places where sound travels) and magnetic interference which is a characteristic of Minovsky particles in any area. Despite that, they are not 100% accurate and Gina would still rely heavily on visual confirmation to find her targets.

Lastly, it features mundane smoke grenade launchers for distraction or cover to escape and a hook and anchor launcher system mounted in the skirt armor that allows the GM Sniper II to anchor and tether itself to a stable object to aid it in fine aiming whilst in zero gravity. It was one thing to have outlandish paint schemes in a simulator, but only a child would disregard logic and smear bright colors all over their machine to make some sort of disgusting individualistic statement. And only a fool would paint their suit in primary colors.
