Description Well. I finished it. I've learnt quite a bit about drawing since drawing this. I didn't think I'd finish it, but I did!

Now then, some bits of it I decided to change a bit, but I can see MANY mistakes in this, but an artist is her, or his, own worst critic. Am I right? That's what they say right?

My next one will be better I'm sure, and then the next one. I hope to improve as I go.

This is my first ever real portrait thingo..

It's A3 in size.

6H, 3B, 4B, 5B, 0.5 mechanical pencil
Blending stump
Earbuds
Kneadable eraser
Horrible reference that made my eyes tired.

This is a very lovely drawing of Frodo and your technique is quite good! Amazing job on the folds of the clothing! Everything on this drawing looks very realistic.

hey there, thanks for the comment. talking about being discovere, you a talented little miss yourself! this is a really good start, honestly. im starting to do art a little old in life ( yeah, 18 and im a hag! lol), but your starting young. if you keep this up you will be a great artist -i promise, when your my age - and i will be older (damn it!). your portrait is similar to the usual movie star depictions - by that i mean the technique ( the tonal blend was a little rough). but after seeing the pic, i understand why ur eyes did hurt. hey i'll post a sketch i did (i think 2 years ago). i'll just add it now.

i like this. my portraits were horrible when i was 15. This is not horrible. quite the opposite. Don't let the differences haunt you though. This is very very good. i'd love to see more.
