Update #2: With about 2 hours left to go, there are 175 Faves and 54 comment (including my many responses, lol). And, in case you all were not aware, the multiplier is x1000, so the total weight gain for the next round is sitting at 141,500,000 pounds. A mighty amount, to be sure, but it can still go far higher if anybody wants to throw any more Points to augment the multiplier.
Update: Within the last (approximate), Round 4 of this Gain Drive has gotten 138 faves and 40 comments. Thanks to a generous donation by Firebolts , the overall multiplier makes each comment worth a full 1 million pounds, and each Favorite adds 500,000. So we're already into 9 digits on the weight scale!
With another day left to go, can we crack 10 digit numbers?

Quick Question: Though the donations received for this round do indeed add up to X1750, the total donation pool would put it at at X2815.
I would make sense if the donations were only for one round but for some reason I thought donations carried over. Was it always this way, or a recent change? Not complaining either way.

Because the multiplier resets to zero at the start of each new round. The multiplier is calculated based on when the donation was received. A donation given now would apply its effects to round six. I just haven't reset the donation counter since the beginning.
