This looks like some good compositing, did you take this from a green screen clip or did you cut it out some other way?

I rotoscoped her in Adobe After Effects CS6. I used the rotobrush tool and custom keyframed masks to create the alpha channel.

This is exceptionally good. The detail of the debris flying up as she leans back and using this gif for its properly intended purpose. Phenomenal.

Stellar clip there! ( Even if it is The Evil One! ) The impact where her feet hit the ground, the flying debris, everything spot on! You wouldn't care to teach me how to do that, would you?

Thank you!
Well all the effects I used for this came from 'Video Copilot's Action Movie Essentials 2' it's a pack of pre-keyed special effects that I use quite often. Everything else was just aftereffects, rotobrush for masking and a few blurred-out shape layers to create the fog and atmosphere.

Are you some kind of contemporary Midas?? Everything you touch turns into gold. If you didn't tell it's your first animation, I would have believed that you work doing this o.O
And just out of curiosity... have you ever tried to draw or write before?

Geez, dude, are you trying to give me a heart attack?! This is friggen awesome!! Pretty easily my favourite giantess thing ... ever! The detail you've packed in is so wonderful! And you managed to do this so quickly too?!
Lets hope Taylor sees this and uses it as inspiration for a future video clip! *fingers crossed*
Also, how did you get the keying/rotoscoping to work so well? I haven't played around with these too much, but whenever I do (on similar clips; a woman against a pretty flat white background) I can never get a clean mask. Lots of haloing, square/sharp JPEG artefacts on the mask boundaries, etc. Any tips or suggestions? Because I've got a handful of giantess animation I'd like to make with similar clips, but I always just end up giving up. Looks like you have a much better idea of what you're doing!
And if I may echo Springer42 ... do you have a higher resolution version uploaded anywhere (YouTube, GfyCat, etc?) This is so wonderful that I'd love to see it in it's non-deviantart-compressed version.
Once again, absolutely spectacular.

I aim to please!
To deal with mask boundaries I just lowered the saturation of everything in the scene and then colour corrected the sky to match the colour of the greyish border around Taylor. You can still see the mask boundary rear its ugly head on her shoes because they're against a dark background. Theoretically I could've fixed this by going through frame by frame but that brings me on to my next point.
Long Story short. Currently visiting parents = slow internet. Spent hour downloading 1080p rip of Tswift music video - video was corrupted. Had to settle for sub-hd version to work with. That's why if I uploaded a higher res version of this it wouldn't make a difference because the composition started off low-res. That's also why I didn't really bother cleaning up the mask or CC'ing the destruction effects, because it's hard to see the difference at sub-HD. That is also how I managed to finish this up so fast.
I want to redo this but start off with a better quality clip. It'll allow me to go into more detail and add some extra stuff to the scene, consider this a prototype version.
If you're still struggling I'd love to take a look at some of the clips you're working on. Perhaps I could take a crack at rotoscoping some of the trickier ones and I could send you back a chroma-keyable version.
