Very powerfully eerie sensations. A most complex mix of perceptions to occupy the viewer's senses. The feeling of this dark mystery duo seeking for normalcy, when all else about them seems to be abnormal in the extreme. Surreally seductive femme fatality going for a chicken in every pot, two cars in the garage, the girls all applying to attend an Ivy league school as they sit for a family portrait moment. Something tells me that this fleeting instant of quiescence very quickly converts to something far more dynamic and darkly bizarre once the camera is off and the portrait artist has returned to the studio to process the prints.
