Description
This is the PDG-5 Tensor Submachine Gun, Mk III, manufactured by Phoenix Development Group. This particular variant is the compact version, optimized for use as an emergency sidearm for VTOL pilots in the IMC and ISC. It is a lightweight railgun with an advanced electronics system enabling small bursts of automatic fire, allowing it to pack a bigger punch than a conventional pistol. The ISC chose to equip their VTOL pilots with this firearm due to the higher likelyhood of combat should they be grounded. Conventional pilots are more likely to be equipped with a pistol, if anything at all. A pilot's primary weapon is their aircraft.
