Not to nit-pick, but since this piece is titled to be a Chinese dragon, it really should have five toes. Otherwise, this would be considered to be a Korean Dragon with it having four toes. Then there's the Japanese counterpart having 3. According to East Asian mythology when it comes to these scaly deities; the further away the dragon is from the 'mainland' (being Asia), the fewer toes it'll possess. But I digress, this piece is whimsically beautiful! The composition and the movement of the lines are awesome. I can tell you added a bit of your own interpretation of this majestic creature. I like.

oh thank you ^^ however I did this on purpose... :b I saw on a tattoo show that it's imporantant for anyone that is NOT an imperial emperor or of chinese royalty, to NOT have a dragon with 5 toes... chinese dragons with 5 toes are I guess a symbol of royalty. it's also about age in dragons... thus why imperial dragons are supposedly the oldest and wisest with the most toes in old age... some even have 6 toes I guess :b

holy shit i love this. I may just have to get this sometime!!! I've been looking for a really good chinese/asian dragon tattoo and haven't really been satisfied. If i dont use this one I may have to commission you for one
