Material wise, the trim is made of gold stretch lycra. I can't, off the top of my head, remember specifically which kind, but when buying it, I did check to see if the gold/sparkle of it would rub off with friction against my skin. It doesn't, so... yes! I'll see if I can hunt down the receipt and tell you exactly. ^^
