This is my Black Lab "Magic." She's smaller than the Yellow Lab, but not my too much. Maybe 20 lbs. Honey is her daughter. Pretty sad the daughter is bigger than the mother.Related content

So pretty! My black lab/dane mix Lilly looks very similar. I love this breed. I grew up with black labs and they are the most laid-back dogs I know besides Danes.

LOL... that's so true. The best thing about it is that they never need any refining. It's not some art they master; it's implicit on every dog from birth.

Haha it is though isn't it?! For crying out loud, why couldn't we humans possess the same natural cuteness as dogs? Even when they are old, they are cute. Even when they just crapped on the carpet . . . well, they're still cute!

Yes, I'm getting two dogs. A black Cocker Spaniel/Lab Mix and a black Lab. They're both girls and they're only one month apart (4 & 5 months old). I did decide a name on it actually since the last time I posted that comment. Elli for the Mix and Tiffany for the full Lab. My friend's named them
