You know, I was just looking at another girl's artwork yesterday, and seeing yours, which has similarities, it made me realise something.
This girls artwork I was looking at, she has a penchant for girls with large heads and huge eyes, but you know, even though she's a reasonably accomplished artist with a few exhibitions up her sleeve with popular illustrators as referees etc, tbh she sucked in comparison to you. She just doesn't seem to get the composition quite right, I found her work a little repulsive, especially next to the people who's artwork she shared exhibitions with! I don't mean to be mean to this girl, I feel really bad for these thoughts, but it's the cold hard truth. You've absolutely NAILED all the principles of illustration, and you should be proud, because after seeing this other girls work, it really sinks in that that takes a surprising amount of talent!
So, that was what I was trying to say >_<" My messages tend to take their round about way, but they get there: I wasn't dissing the girl, I was simply pointing out an observation one can draw from the fact that you seem to absolutely perfectly create these gorgeous artworks, and make it look so easy! It takes for someone to compare your work to others to realise that what you do is hard, but you do it so well and make it look so easy!
