I present you the artwork of the Bardess and the Bard on Pokémon Sacred Phoenix.

Exclusive Trainer class of my fangame, it is the ancient equivalent of the Dancer or Musician from the official games.

Each inn is occupied by a Bard or a Bardess (sometimes both at the same time). They earn their living by entertaining customers with their songs, tales, or by engaging in a Pokémon battle to any trainer who requests it. Therefore, they will gladly agree to fight you once a day to train your magical creatures. In case of victory, such a fight will earn you money given the presence of spectators. Their level is pretty decent and and they can be specialized in any Pokémon, but their Pokémons (often evolved forms or Audinos) will bring back an honorable experience.

Keepers of Keltios' tales and witnesses of many events, they have knowledge for bringing back the memories of your magical creatures. Thus, they have the combined skills of the Name Rater, Memory Girl, Move Reminder, and Move Deleter NPCs found in official games, as Jack in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Bards and Bardesses will offer you these services for free if they are resting in an inn. (The few that you will encounter in transit on the roads will be just simple trainers.)
