Description

I present you a new Fakemon for Pokémon Sacred Phoenix: Kineos, the mentalist fox and evolution of Efflutal. It has inspirations from Delphox, Espeon and Ninetales.

It comes from the french GBA ROM-hack called "Pokémon Cristal de Jade", a project abandoned in 2017.

Its creator, ArnikumPlus , kindly gave me the green light to offer him a new existence in the world of Keltios. So eysselia dedicated a artwork to this Fakemon.

Kineos was originally to be the final evolution of starter fire of Arnik's ROM-hack, but it was adapted to Keltios regional Pokédex with two stages of evolution. So it becomes Psychic/Normal type instead of Fire/Psychic type. (There is no Girafarig in my regional Pokédex but Delphox is present.) This does not prevent to maintain some affinity with fire. The proof is that it can know a unique ability that will make its absorb attacks of this type.

The etymology of "Kineos" (same word on English and French) comes from kinesis and Eos, the Greek goddess of the dawn.

Note 1: In Keltios, this ability can transfer freezing, sleeping and the confusion in addition to burn, poison, or paralysis.

Note 2 : Flame-Eater is same as Sap Sipper (Ability), but increases Special Attack with Fire moves instead of Attack with Grass moves when triggered.
