This is a drawing of mine from 1996, which I just uncovered. This is inspired by certain "Fang of the Sun Dougram" designs (more familiar to Americans as 'Mechs from BattleTech).Related content

I love Dougram, the mech designs mixed Gundam and Battletech to me (even though Battletech ripped them off lol) plus I loved the mechs heads, I never trusted a set of cameras (unless they were AT's from VOTOMS)

Looks good to me, I've been trying to draw a Dougram style mecha for a series on Deviantart for years and can't settle on it (too nitpicky and not enough free time) Though would be cooler if it was colored, or shaded.

At the time, I was HUGE into BattleTech and I was trying to emulate the look of Duane Loose who drew the 3025, 3026 and 3055 Technical Readouts.

I knew Dougram first as a part of the Robotech model kits by Revell and later as certain medium, heavy and assault 'Mechs in BattleTech.
