This piece really resonated with me. The combination of Chihiro having her back to the viewer, the petals being blown by the wind, and the cloud in the background force those looking at the piece to put themselves into her shoes. This allows viewers to empathize with Chihiro and get a feel for what she is thinking as she’s engulfed within atmosphere the drawing depicts. Perhaps she's older now than she was when everything occurred at the bath house, giving a deeper feeling of nostalgia to the picture. The colors interact really well, with the pink, blue, and green shades setting the tone as she looks at the cloud in front of her. I like to think that Chihiro is smiling as she looks at the cloud, possibly sighing as the memory of Haku gently washes over her like the breeze that is lifting the petals around her.

So .... before seing the tittle and the girl...i did see the dragon and said (whoa it s like me when I look at the sky and see so much,different, form in it) and then....wanted to cry because it's so beautiful,the art and the meaning of this picture <3 you can be proud of you ^_^
