Alternate Titles- The Fawn and The Mountain Lion
Or, of course, the Peryton and The Griffin.

Redesign of some characters I've had but haven't used for awhile; Persephone and Wicker (Left and Right), and a redo of This - they were supposed to look much younger in the original, because they met when they were little.

In their world, Griffins don't hunt adult Perytons (they're too big). Babies up to adolescence, however, are more likely to be killed if they're alone. Most of the time they never are, which is what lead to Persephone's weird sense of trust. When she did get lost one time, she found the nearest small fluffy thing to cuddle with, and woke up next to a very, very confused young Griffin. Wicker was just a kid too, so she was more afraid than anything- she hadn't seen a Peryton before.
Despite their differences the two made and stayed friends innocently (starting an interesting but welcome alliance between their kind of weirded-out families) and actually got into a relationship later on.

-Cross-species girlfriends, basically. To make a long story short.

I tried my best to get their wings down- robins actually have more rounded wings with really big primary feathers (compared to their bodies) and raptors seem to have wings with lots of feathers. They're not fledglings yet, so their wings are allowed to be small... Yes I'm sticking with that excuse.
