Description
An updated Cap'n Matty (Captain Matilda) Thsi time with a background, I decided to order myself a blank journal from Cafe Press for myself and a couple friends who adore pirates, so I thrw together a backgorund for the ol' girl.

I really like the attitude in this piece. She has quite a carefree confidence about her, but there is something else there too... she also looks almost reserved.

That's some nice shading. Some parts could use more texture. I love the pose. Highly saturated lady, eh? Nice go on the skin! You're very good at detail with its necessitating patience and all.

I had a few friends who kept pestering the hell out of me for a background.. I started an illustrated one but ran out of steam. I was pleasantly surprised with how well this one turned out though, until such time as I am able to finish the other one. Thanks for the comment!

I love how it turned out. The texturing on the sword is a great touch and I really like how the background resembles her coat. Awesome work!!

She is so incredibly awesome still. I absolutely love her, her red hair, and everything about her. She is uber realistic and incredibly well done, every single detail.
