Another palette challenge piece.It's kind of boring, but I'm really tired today, so I just wanted to draw something calm, soothing and cozy. :]
Also drawn while listening to this - [link] - and its influence is easy to see.

what techniques did you use to obtain that really nice natural glow? I imagine the feathered edge brush was what you mainly used

The glow was created really quickly. On a layer above all the rest, I made a soft yellow blob which was set to Soft Light or some other blend mode - I usually just randomly scroll through them until I settle on what works best. I used a bit of colour temperature to make it look hotter in some spots - meaning the less lit areas are closer to red, and more well-lit areas are closer to lemony yellow. That's all. :]

Simple and elegant, and she looks way to happy to be Miri. I am suspicious. But the glow effect is nice, and possibly difficult? But her legs and feet turned out really nice, and that careless hand is pretty. I kinda want to say she's on a water bed, or something like that, something constantly moving around her. At least that's what it makes me think of. Well done, love the hair~

The idea behind this is incredible enough, but then the way you painted the glow REALLY sets it apart. And the anatomy is utterly flawless. Look at her little hands and feet!
