well people do change just look at Kevin. when he was 11 he wanted to kill Ben and hated Gwen, and now he is friends with Ben and is dating Gwen. oh and Michael is better for Julie cuz they have more in common.
and 'Onee-sama' does mean older sister, but it is also used to refer to older females, not just family y'know.

there are so many missed oppertunities for those two to at least TALK in the show. e.g. in Single Handed and Vreedle-Vreedle, Julie got as much as a hello from Ben in those eps! they could at least hug or share some corny dialouge!
