I tried a second Aproach into sonic adventure Cg. this time I didn't added my habitual "blurry efect" in the pic, so the lights should be seen better that in my Shadow the hedgehog pic. I need to improve more in this cging way anyway XP

Intente un segundo Aproximamiento en el tipo de colorear de Sonic Adventure. Esta vez, no le añadi mi habitual "efecto blurry", asi que las luces se deberian ver mejor que en mi dibujo de Shadow the hedgehog. De todas formas, necesito mejorar mas en esta forma de colorear XP.

sonic X have another cging style, would be expensive to make animations with this kind of cg, and more knowing that is a long series.

mmmm I made it in photoshop. this piccie is a bit old so I dont exactly remember how I did it, but looking at it I can easily guess the steps I used. Still, as my photoshop is in spanish, the names of the options may be differents:
the base of the background was maden after a layer with the option filters-render-clouds, using green colors. In that layer I used the filter distort-twirl, in order to make a spiral effect. For the leafs, I used the brush that photsohp have about leafs, although I may modify it a bit. For the glows of the leafs, Its probable that I added to the background a blur effect layer (its a big long to explain but is another layer with the same image, with blur filter aplied and with a "hard light" or "multiply" property)
more or less that was the way I made it. I also added a scaliness effect with another layer with straight black lines with an opacity of 40% or less
That background could be done that way. sorry, my explanations are so bad XP but I hope they were useful to you ^^
