EnglishYeah, I have been tooo much away lately. and more this days that I am in exam time... I guess that, I should post some stuff I drew a few weeks ago XD
I was training for Megaman tribute art book those days. I should finish my entries before this month ends!

Si, he estado algo "away" ultimamente, y mas estos dias, que estoy en tiempo de examenes... asi que creo que tendria que enseñar alguna cosa que he dibujado hace unas semanas.
He estado entrenadome para el art book Megaman tribute estos dias. Tendria que acabar los dibujos que quiero presentar para antes del final de mes!

Me gusta la pose que tiene la mano en alto amenazante, lo unico que la cabeza la veo demasiado hechada para alante, y luego lo que veo raro es que hay muchos estilos de ojos mezclados en el mismo personaje.
Que es eso del artbook tribute de megama?

Udon es una especie de editorial americana que publica cosas relacionadas con videojuegos (mangas, art books...), mayoritariamente (sino exclusivamente) relacionadas con Capcom. A demas de importarlos de japón, tambien los hacen ellos mismos. En el pasado hicieron un art book tribute de darkstalker en el cual pedian a los fanes dibujos y ellos seleccionarian los qu emas les gustan para añadirlos.
Ahora estan haciendo lo mismo con la saga Megaman - todas las sagas menos battlenetwork y starforce, porque tiene derechos compartidos entre capcom y los que hicieron los animes -. He enviado un par de mis dibujos, pero queria hacer algo mas molon, asi que empece a practicar... la pena es que estoy en epoca de examenes finales y llevo ya unas semanas que no toco un lapiz para algo que no sea calcular momentos angulares, matrices de transformación o parametros denavit hantenberg xP y la fecha final de el tribute es a finales de mes... por suerte ya habre acabado los examenes este viernes y kizas me de tiempo hacer alguna cosa pasable en dos semanitas ^^

Aww, these are all pretty cute! (minus the Sigma face of course ;>w> It disturbs me...) The faces he makes when he's all teary eyed or crying his eyes out are just too sweet, just wanna hug X and tell him it's gonna be fine. (Makes me wonder if that is what he would be like when he first joinded the maverick hunters. ^_^; )

Well originally, X joined the maverick hunters after the Sigma revelion in where he get almost all the maverick hunters and make them Mavericks... so I guess he had not a lot of time to cry. But its true that he is always crying so thats why I draw him this way XD
At least that SigmaX its not a Weegee-X... now that would be disturbing!

Yeah, but there are some variations in the story, like in the Rockman X mangas and the Day of Sigma OVA where X is already a member of the Maverick hunters, although it is technicaly non-canon story material. I'm not sure if it was made offical or not that X wasn't part of the team until after Sigma rebelled or not. I looked it up on this site here and there are some different statements about it.

Lol, yeah I wanted to write about day of sigma and the mangas but at the end I didnt
Well, lets say that there are several alternative timelines in megaman story when is talking about the games(not couting exe and ryusei).
- the first and main one, its the one that inafune created and wanted it to be
- the second one started when Capcom Released X6 whitout Inafune making the story, messing ALL the rockman sagas.
- the next one is Command mission (it is suposed to happen in the Zero timeline!!!!) also Capcom whitout inafune doing
- the anime "the day of sigma" -> there are a lot of alterations! Cain was VERY old and dies of a missile in the anime, when in X3 he still alive! they never mention him dying after that game but he does not appear anymore (although they mention Cain Labs as creators of the Repliforce in the X4) and in overall all what happens in "irregular hunter X" (all the part of vile its new, in the orignal he was just the second in command of Sigma).
In other words, after X5 that was suposed to be the last X saga game, all the cannon its messed up XP. And now that Inafune is not in Capcom anymore, I dont think they will make a lot of sense of it anymore xP.
The story messed even more in the case of the Zero saga because Inti creates really tried hard to make it in the canon and to respect the ideas of inafune (they had him helping them all along). Zero 1 fits perfectly with the endings of X5, but after Zero 2 and 3, all what they can do its to patch the story... and then capcom messed even more the canon in X8 introducing Lumine and stating that Sigma is dead (he was suposed to be killed by the mother elf! and anyway, WHY he is dead? Zero says in his ending "If what Lumine said its true, then Sigma wont come back"... Lumine just said "now you defeated sigma, I supose you are satisfied"... they defeated Sigma 8+2 times before! not counting transformations or copies, only comebacks in games XD).
About Irregular hunter X... a lot of things changes from the original game in what story its about... in there, its X the one who infrict sigma with his eye's scars (in the original saga its Zero when Sigma finds him). Cain is VERY old and need a machine to live, when in the original he is old but not THAT old. He mentions that he wanted to see the true X potential and for that he tried to extend his life as he could, so that means that a lot of time has passed since X was found... in the original game its just a matter of months since X is found, the first reploids are made, some of them start to atack humans by errors in their design, Sigma and The maverick hunters are created and Sigma revels against humans, starting the first game. Also, Vile never relvelated against Sigma, He joins him whitout any objections.
About Command Mission: They have ANOTHER orbital elevator, different to jakob (Its possible but not probable that they make another one, but knowing what they toke them to make one, and they need new generation reploids in order to make it, where in that game only 2 new generation reploids are arround, axl and signas - and signas became it because he fix himself, he was not a new generation reploid for starters - anyway)... and it is suposed to happen in 22xx, the Zero timeline. In Rockman Zero 3 they tried to fix it a bit, and because 100 years are a lot of year, we could say that command mission is early 22xx and zero is later 22xx... In the drama of "thelos" they mention that X and Zero defeat Omega for first time using a combo atack from Command mission -final strike, if I am not mistaken-. Appart for that, the story its totally autoconclusive and it have not a lot about the original story - except for the fact that they mention that Axl was maden in Giga City, using the technology they were developing there, so techincally they create the new generation reploids there... Still it doesnt work well, because X8 it suposed to happen before Command mission?! or after?!
Damn, its a headache XD. Now I just dont try to fix it with glue. I know that things messed with x6, so from now on it will be always this way: some people will try to keep the canon, while CapCom bosses will just get money and will make some games whitout caring about the canon, as they were doing since then.

Yeah, Capcom has a LOT of loose ends to tie up if they want to make everything completely sensible. But, seeing as they aren't likely to do that, it's usually up to the more reasonable fans to do that when they make doujinshi or fanfiction. I don't think Capcom is quite as money-grubbing as some other game companies though, even when they do try to extend a franchise.
I was kinda bummed when Inafune tried to cut things off at X5, not to mention he tried to make X the villan in RMZ (something I still haven't forgiven, even though it was changed), and I'm somewhat glad Capcom went ahead and made x6-Command mission. Like you said, althought Rockman Zero is considered canon after X5, they did good with the plot up until Z4 in my opinion, then it just seemed like a kinda forced ending with the whole "Weil's trying to destroy the world" plot.
I dunno, there's a lot of different things that don't make sense, but could easily be counter-argued with the changes made to adapt to the 'non-canon' stuff. It's all very confusing and controversial, especially when the hardcore "offical only" fans get involved. They really like making a big deal about non-canon stuff or semi-contradictory stuff being bad. ^_^;
