^^ I wanted to draw this character since a lot of time ago... the design somehow reminds me to Lenneth (Valkyrie Profile), another character that I want to draw since a lot of time ago (but all my tryes were faliures XP). this is the second try in drawing Kos-Mos... the problem was that I didn't get a pose for her... first try was a hard perspective pic, so I didnt' like how it turns... I tried several poses for this pic, but as I didnt' get a suitable one, I started to check my art books... I saw a pic I liked of a girl that was flying on the wather... it was quite cool but I didn't wanted just to copy the pose, I just wanted to get inspiration... so I remebered a pose that Sora used to get when he was flying in Kindom hearts that was quite similar to the one I saw in the art book, so I tried to imaginate the pose... I start do draw a simple sketch of it, and I liked more the profile one than the usual ones... and cause one of my biggest weak points in drawing is profiles, so I tried this one as a test profile. still I have to improve the profiles... this one is the 5th try but at least i think this one is nicer than the other ones...arg, the proportions... I have to learn to not to draw this big heads in my pics xP oh well...
I still want to play to Xenosaga... as it isn't released in spain yet, I just get the original usa version... but still I have no mod chip neither a boot cd that can boot Xenosaga (seems that Xenosaga don't work properly with my boot cd... like rockman X7... xP)... I guess I will have to wait unil I get a mod chip... or for them to release this game in spain... (oh O.o
DDD that must be a joke!! if they release it someday it sure would be 3 years in the future, and in a horrible 50 hz version... they use to give us the worst version of the games (luckily capcom gave us a 60 hz version of X7 ^^))remember that Kos-Mos is a character from Xenosaga, and a property of Namco and Monolith Studios ^^

well...i cant draw from memory so that kinda sucks...
whenever i draw a character a have to keep looking at it...
but of course that doesnt apply for the ones i make up!!!
one day i post them up and youll be able to see all 54 of them(for now 54)

thats not a bad thing, everybody does have references when drawing, even the proffessionals do it - and I am not talking about the famous paintors of the history, but is also true in their case. if you notice it, Clamp, Katsura, Kosuke Fujishima... they all use references when drawing somethings (even katsura, that his drawing skills are awesome, use photographies to make their piccies look realistic in the covesr ). I do take references all the time XD. I cant draw a lot of things by memory, not even my own characters XD so dont worry about it ok?

dont get fool by things like "destiny" or "gifted ones". what is under all those pics you see arround the net and are pretty cool, is a lot of hours of effort, training. The key is never giving up ^^

to work hard.
meaning "to really manage to do something, to have an idea - inspiration is good, but its only the start. actually the most part of the job is working hard, and testing, studing or training a lot".
For all human beings, inspiration comes to our life in a random way, and it dont last a lot. the people who really were able to do something, werent that different from us. but they had to work hard to do it.

This is a really good sketch! Clean lineart with amazing amount of detail....the effort you put into this sure has paid off!
I heard alot of Xenosaga but there's not alot of information about it (that I could find anyways)...I'm quite illiterate when it comes to videogames. I think I've been disconnected from the world for a long long time....

lol, don't worry, here in my country not a lot of people knows about it... in fact it wasn't released in here XP. Is quite traumatic to have the original usa game and to not be able to play (my ps2 is european, no compatible with usa games) XP
I was quite proud of this sketch... but the sice of her head xP I should fix it, cause I tend to draw big heads XP
