I like the perspective as it's rather untypical. The ambiguity here is a bit disturbing. What are they drinking? Why the girl on the left is smiling in such a manner? Should I feel sorry for the girls or maybe for the dog?

This picture has a real sense of mood and setting. It captures the essence of a weekend night spent holed up in a hot, stuffy room, from which a lukewarm beer and a casual dispersing of self-consciousness is the only escape. As we leave our comfort zones behind and our souls blend together, the stale oxygen that surrounds us is compressed into a saunalike haze that runs like syrup over the nooks and crannies of our brains and of our bodies. At least, that is what it is evocative of for me. This is really a terrific piece. Thank you.
