This is nice, and I know the feeling. I live in a really small comminity, so nobody in my school even knows what homestuck is, and everybody I tell about it is too lazy to read it! It's really frustrating sometimes...

That's the problem. I live on an island. There are no nearby conventions. The only time I can dress up is Halloween, and nobody even knows who I'm dressed as. :C
