LOL... It really must've felt awckward to shoot that with all the people around unaware of the shoot xD But it's a great shot! I don't actually the character (gotta check... working on that) but you look disturbingly cute! xD

But I never doubted about the amusement... there's just this notion of people staring like you're a monkey at the zoo that gets me out of willing to do anything like that in a public place xD... At least I'm sure people would act in that uncomfortable way around this city where I live... actually... the country itself is retarded xD Can't lose a chance to say nasty things about my own country xP May I ask you something? >_< where do you live? I was wondering about that the other day along with but she told me she wasn't sure.

Well, the shoot was done at the convention center, so the audience were fellow con goers. Weirder things take place than me posing for pics while people are wandering by. People that don't know what's going on obviously stare and wonder wtf they are obviously not in on. We had to walk through public malls all weekend and got strange looks. Same thing when we go outside. After a while it become second nature. I've done public photoshoots in Portugal (Sintra) and sure, people stare. But that happens anywhere.
I live in New Jersey... roughly 15 mins outside of New York City.

It's not a matter of being narrow minded, we have plenty of idiots in the state. In fact, I'm sure we've got a shitload more considering NJ is the size of Portugal. It's a matter of where you are, and how exposed people are to things that are considered out of the ordinary. Like cosplay. Don't be anti-nationalistic... Because you know what, you don't realize how good you have it until you experience something else. For how bad a shape you think the country's in now, it could be worse and it has been worse. I've lost count of how many times I go over there only to hear people bitch about how the country's in ruin and how the government is responsible for this, that and the other thing. Bitch away if you have reason to, but don't be anti-nationalistic. Please. I left Portugal when I was 11, and didn't really know better to be able to appreciate it as much as I do now, looking in from the outside.
