Hey dear
both need to be done in the same medium though!

Well, both of them were done by coloring in Photoshop 2.0, over a hand drawing. It is as much as I know the same medium, though the method was different.
THe use of different options of the program (like the transparency effect) is up to me, isn't it ?

yes you can use different options, but yes, if you did both like that i assume it is acceptable, I understood your artist's comment wrong.

You do have awesome folds on your "Elven Beauty V2". I wouldn't be able to do half of what you did on the clothes.
Although it's a good, first serious try for me, my folds don't seem as natural as yours on that one.
I usually do ironed clothes as well, but I'll keep improving so that it won't happen much again.

I didn't draw that though lol, I just coloured it. So any folds that look like they're because of the colour I did, but I was pretty much just following the line art. There's very little in my gallery that I drew from scratch, I've got loads I want to colour but just haven't got round to it lol.
I like the folds you did on this, some people can go overkill on folds, but I think you've got it right. Especially since it's a tightish dress anyway there wouldn't be that many folds.
