Description For the whole life Arabic architecture has been one of my favourites. Oh, how I wished to do such kind of interior, from the date of the first visiting architectural classes, I suppose.

My picture is about the oriental beauty of excessive amount of small details on the all exsisting surfaces. Beauty of the complicated lace of geometric ornaments. Beauty which costs incredibly high. Beauty, from which you may have a headache. Beauty, where human can be lost forever)

***
I tried to make an engraving look to my drawing) I think if I lived in the past, I would be a print artist. I would sit with a needle and slowly etch a picture.

black ball-pointed pen, black watercolour pencil. A1 size again-_-

Comeents are extremely welcome~

This is incredible... I used to to a lot of detailed ink work when I was younger... but one corner of this image has more detail in it than everything I've ever drawn combined! This is truly beautiful, and the atmospheric perspective is amazing.

Several things: First - This is spectacular! The detail and use of perspective is amazing. As an imagined combination of interior and exterior it works, and beautifully.

Secondly, although the notions are different, this could be one of Escher's finer uses of space, without his often surreal aspects.

It's that good.

Lastly, as an historian, this looks like a combination of a Venetian exterior with a Muslim-Byzantine interior; Byzantine in its complex nature, and Muslim in its total avoidance of any live elements (No possibility of an idol).

An easy Fave!

Your perspective is off the hook!  It's so refreshing to see a real layout artist, here on dA.  Did you design this place, or is it from real life?  Either way, it is a breath-taking drawing.  Amazing work.

This is absolutely gorgeous, with detail worthy if the greatest monuments of the Arab world (for starters). I love the great open areas that are plenty roomy yet still comfortable enclosed, and no matter where you go the views and emotions are quite stimulating. The idea of a waterway passing through such a grandiose center of business keeps it directly in touch with nature, which is nice no matter how much of the decor includes plant form arabesques. It must also be useful for bringing goods and people to and from the place. Great work on using the perspective to bring the enormity of the place to life.

Gorgeous attention to detail, I like that you haven't just hinted at the detail in the middle distance, you have actually included it. I think you succeeded in getting it to look like an engraving. You are amazingly talented.

The fisheye perspective reminds me of Escher, and there is some overlap with the Renaissance architecture that fascinated him!

This is gorgeous, and the detail is... well, it boggles the mind. One could be happily lost in the detail, like in an Escher drawing, for quite some time. If you're not a professional, it's certainly not for lack of ability. Now if you excuse me, I'm going back to my exploring...
