Copy and pasted from InstagramA Wolf's rain fanart I just finished, I started re-watching the anime the other day and was inspired lol. It's a redraw of an artwork from maybe 2015/16?? Or around that time anyway ( swipe to last pic to see my old drawing). Wolf's rain is one of the few anime I actually enjoy
On another note, this is really more sketchy and unrefined but do you guys like sketches and stuff too?? I have more of that stuff posted on my Instagram if anyone's interested but I can post here too if people want

Best Wolf's Rain art EVER. I've been thinking about this series the last few days. How can an anime be so melancholic...but hopeful at the same time. Such a gem of a series. Definitely requires multiple viewings to understand its subtlety.

oh man, i recently thought about wolf's rain again about a month ago. made me want to rewatch, but i haven't yet. it's been such a long time since i've seen wolf's rain fanart, let alone REALLY GOOD FANART. i absolutely love the expression on all of them; it's very characteristic of their personalities. love the style/shading, and especially how intense their eyes look (especially blue!). i'm gonna have to rewatch it at some point.... (and yeah, i LOVE sketchy style stuff!!) i followed your insta, but i dont check it that much (also way too many people and a dumb style/layout so i miss, quite literally, about 99% of everything). would love to see them posted here if it's not too much for you because i'm much more likely to catch it, personally

Thank you!! I felt like my original drawing had somewhat captured their personalities so I just wanted to replicate it with some adjustments. I agree with the shitty algorithm on insta and the layout isn't really suited for art at all. I do like how easy it is to post multiple sketches without being overwhelmed by a giant sketch dump page. Those huge images are always too much to look at for me, so I think if I were to post more sketches here id need a better way π§
