Happy International Women's (Mares') Day!!!

Today, we celebrate the social, cultural and political achievements women have made. We also celebrate all the good they do for us in our daily lives. Even “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” proves we can celebrate girl power, thanks to our heroic ponies, the Mane Six, along with the Cutie Mark Crusaders, the Princesses of Equestria, and the Equestria Girls. This cartoon, as well as other TV shows and movies like Sailor Moon and Disney, prove how girls and women can inspire us, and we will love them for showing us this. Also, I celebrate this special day it for my respect, appreciation, love, and friendship for the ones who mean so much to me.

This year's Women's Day stars the eight wonderful young women who would become some of my dearest friends: Marianna-Flutter Dust ; Lucy-Dino Shining Heart ; Catherine-Sweet Melody ; Deanna ; Shonata-Shona Lunar ; Katey-Songbird ; Abigail , and Joanne , and some new friends I made recently: Flare Spark , Aspen , and Noi Kincade-Princess Kincade . Besides sharing my art to the world, joining this website let me meet some really incredible and talented artists, and in time, true friends. With creative minds and warm hearts, you always bring light, color, love, and friendship whenever darkness, toxicity, and misery come a calling. I know many of you are not pleased with how rough and uneasy things can be online, but whenever I start to fall from all this you all pull up me back up and this encourages me to stay. You're all strong, brave, kind, smart, and true. Times may be hard, but you always told me in your own way to never yield, and I ask you to never give in either. You've always showed me support and appreciation for all my hard work, offered help and reassurance when I struggled, you care for me and believe in me, and bring me joy and happiness. Your love and friendship are the best gifts I could ever ask for from all of you. You're all such strong women, and it always inspires me to be a better person. Thank you for everything, girls. Come what may, you will always have a special place in my heart.

My goodness! I had a hard time coming up with something new this year. I struggled horribly. I mentioned last year that I have a pattern in which one year I would do a IWD pic starring the characters from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, then the next year would be about my female DA friends. This time it looks like I broke the pattern. A lot IRL has distracted me as well, and I didn't have the needed time for something ambitious. Since I made some new gal pals, I thought about doing another OC Women's Day project, which would compromise my pattern. Then, I decided to do a pic with the International Women's Day logo only. Next, I experimented with having the Mane Six taking center stage, but I changed my mind. Then, I thought about doing an Equestria Girls version, but I only made full-body vectors of Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer, and I didn't have time to do the rest of the girls. There is another project in the works, but I need to work on one more character, and I don't have any time. Eventually, I was going to stick with the logo image. However, after hearing one of my friends is having a really bad day, and in her case, that's an understatement, I decided to fall back on the OC pic in the end. Despite making some changes from the expressions to the Venus symbol, it looks similar to last year's submission. Forgive me if it turned out bland. There is a possibility that something's missing, so I'll probably end up updating it either today or tomorrow.

Now as I mentioned, there's another pic for International Women's Day showing up this month. I just have one more vector to work on, but as a result, this other submission won't be done by the end of today, but days later my guess. Fingers crossed.
