okay...so a while ago a made a guardian of the stars....so why not a guardian of the sky? This is the lineart i submitted last year....colored last year....and never finished xD; so i just did the backround :B i had issues with lighting back then...as you can see xD; but whatever, im actually kinda proud of how the backround came out. ~lazygrrrl said clouds would fit best...even though i really didnt want to do clouds x_o; i was also suppose to have her fursonas head be the air balloon....but im so back with lion forgivemeshata DD::so yeah, everything here (c) to me
doesnt the balloon look familiar? x3

yep! 100% :3 the sketch was drawn out on paper, but the coloring and inking were done in photoshop ^^

How you can fit so much magic into one picture is, like...beyond me.

I love how his fur is white, and the highlights are subtly yellow and blue. His horns are stunning, all the little details and swirls lining them feels so instintaniously classic. 
The balloon in the backdrop is a sweet addition, as well, I wonder what it symbolizes?
Endless journeys? Long lost hope?
Whatever it is, it's damn cool. Keep it up, yarr.

I love the style. It kinda reminds me of those books from long ago that you could color by adding water with a paint brush, only this is much nicer. At first I thought the balloon was the moon hehe. Good job
