Description This is an illustration of my friend's draenei death knight, Atun, and my draenei priestess Mallin.

Much of the interaction between these two characters deals with the ways Atun was psychologically altered as a result of his being raised (as player-character death knights are undead, formerly enslaved beings within the lore of the game). So I tried to depict that here and show the ominous side of things as well as the good.

Draenei are from World of Warcraft.

I really like the way you painted this! And how you used the blue from the their skin in the background and vice versa. Don't see too many soft faced draenei men, he looks like he's a nice guy. That is pretty refreshing.

Thank you for such a nice comment. Atun is very gentle and kind. Or at least it's his normal inclination to be this way, the character suffers from the dark impulses he gets as a death knight.

How wonderful! I love how he is protecting her from the dark figures in the background. At least that is what I see. =] And how he is embracing her not only with his arms, but also his tail. It's very sweet! The folds in her dress are amazing as well as the ringlets in her hair. The overall image is beautifully done. =]

Thank you. That's kind of my aim as well, draenei are kind of strange-looking so I try to show them as having human emotions and pathos.

Thank you. I thought it was important in this case because the background is more meant to represent the characters' inner trials than an actual physical danger from the Scourge.
