So many have said it before, but I agree, so I'll say it too.
It's very hard to capture a good lightning strike.
I've never accomplished it, in fact, but not because I haven't tried over and over.

I know that feeling well.
I have gotten some good pictures of odd storm clouds, only to be caught in the downpour before making it home.
Things like this are hypnotic...hard to tear your eyes away.

I got a few shots of some clouds rolling in, I want to try and get more, its just getting the hubby to get out and take me there.. we have a rule where I dont go shooting by myself. It just isnt safe anymore lol.

I'm currently reading a biography of George Harrison, before that I read the Paul McCartney bio....I find it interesting to see the conflicting stories.
I read the Lennon bio years ago...next...Ringo.

My dad used to let me play with his beatles records when I was a kid.. he turned me into a Beatle fan amongst many other great artists! Im reading a book that has nothing to do with bios lol.. its called Blue Water. Its pretty good so far^^

Blue Water by Manette Ansay, it is about a couple that has a child in their 40s only to lose the child in a horrible car accident involving a drunk driver. The driver is a childhood friend and she gets a very light sentence. They have to learn to live around the corner from this lady and continue to go about their day to day business. They decided one day to drop everything and buy a boat so they can leave their little town behind.
So far it's pretty good, after the first chapter I was hooked lol..

Hehe I had TONS of just sky shots and then bam there was the lightning! I was sooo excited! lol Of course I had to wait to see how well it came out until I got home and uploaded it to my computer lol.. Thanks!!
